Hi If you still have the park lane 58 convertible or Know any for sale fr.om. Project to restored car price 10-70 000 dollar e mail me hemulen1@ telia.com
Hi Harry, My ex-wife acquired it when we divorced. Unfortunately it had an engine fire and the insurance company is in the process of repairing it. They are VERY hard to find. You might find a hardtop, but I haven’t seen a convertible come up in years.
Kind Regards, Bill
Curious on the dashboard, under the steering column, is something that reads “1–>2–>3”. What is that for? I’m guessing maybe convertible top positions? Currently looking at a 58 Park Lane 2 door hardtop in unrestored condition and trying to sort out what options is has and doesn’t have.
Thanks,
Keith
I am looking for a convertible. Please respond so I can get some pictures.
I would sell this one … but I’ve got a ton of money into it. All the pictures I have are on the website, and at the moment she’s tucked away for the winter.
Bill, is this car still available, have a friend overseas inquiring, would just pass on the info if so

I have two convertibles.
One is mostly original with 60,000 miles……looks entirely original but I don’t have all the history so can’t be sure. My father has owned it since the early/mid 1990s. It is black exterior with white top and black/white interior. I also have spare tire/continental kit for it but it is not on the car. The car is in great condition.
Second car…..car is very rough. No title. Car has 87,000 miles. My father bought this car in late 1980s or early 1990s. It is a Minnesota car with lots of rust. The engine is in the car but missing carb and other pieces. My father first bought this car with intent of rebuilding but never did it. He does have a number of replacement steel pieces/quarters etc for the car that he bought for the project that never got done.
Let me know if any interest. I would prefer to sell the two cars together but open to options. I have yet to list either car for sale. As you likely know, the volume of sales are very few making it difficult to get values on these cars but open to your thoughts.
Todd
Hi Todd, I assume the cars you describe are 58 Park Lane convertibles. Can you forward some pictures? I would be happy to give you my impressions. Where are you located?

My dad bought a new black 1958 Mercury ParkLane convertible. My mom loved that car. He and my mom got engaged and he sold it. My dad passed away a couple years ago. I always thought it would be cool to find another one for my mom.
Hi Tom, Yes it’s quite the car. The holy grail for me would be to find one with a Super Marauder engine. Anyway, they come up for sale once in a blue moon, so watch eBay and Hemmings and you might get lucky.
Regards, Bill
Hi Bill.. still have the car? What fenderskirts is it? Nerver sen regular fenders on a parklane..
